About Us

Girls Dream Out Loud provides summer and after-school programs for 6- 16-year-old girls. We are a
close-knit group, passionate about gender-affirming opportunities and creative, project-based learning.
Blue Tree is campus-based summer camp for older girls. Curious Jane, for younger girls, is our day
camp and after-school program held at many wonderful schools around the Northeast and growing!

Girls stretch their creativity, strengthen their voices, find new approaches to problem-solving and learning,
build confidence, grow socially, have fun and DREAM OUT LOUD!

Creating these programs has been a dream of my own. I earned my BA from Yale and my Masters of
Industrial Design from Pratt, where I returned to teach. While in school, I spent my summers directing a
variety of all-girls camps. After having two girls of my own, I founded Girls Dream Out Loud, Inc. I am a
designer, teacher and camp founder, but I am a mother first. My daughters - and your daughters - are the
greatest inspiration for what I do!

Blue Tree is a natural extension of my experience with teen girls. It is fresh and engaging. The campus
setting provides a perfect backdrop. Curious Jane, simply put, is something I would have loved as a girl,
and it is what I want for my daughters - to be curious and explore and have fun. No matter what type of
school your daughter attends, there is a place for an all-girls experience. I hope it will be with us!

How to Register

For a Catalog: Just click "Request Information" in the upper-left corner. We'll mail you one!

To Enroll: Just click “Register” below. You will be taken to our secure online system.

You will create an account with an email address and password. Don't worry, if you forget your password,
we can always create a new one for you. You will choose your location, dates and class themes and make a
non-refundable deposit to reserve a space.

Important Information

We require 2 forms to be submitted by the first day of camp - (1) Enrollment Contract and (2) Health Form.
Please download these by clicking the “Download Forms” leaf. Shortly before your camp start-date, you will
receive a welcome letter in the mail with reminders and details.

Camp Forms and Deadlines

Please provide us with a health form that has been completed in the past year. You may download
the generic form below, or simply photocopy your pediatrician’s form. Please bring a signed copy of
the enrollment contract and the health form to camp on the first day. Or you may send them to us
earlier at the fax or address below.

If your daughter has any allergies, specific physical needs, medications – or anything else we need
to know to prepare for her safety, please make sure to give us this information at least two weeks
before her session starts. Thank you!
